True Mad Man visits Hong Kong

Rory Sutherland visits Ogilvy One Hong Kong. No I'm not sad enough to ask for a photograph with him.

Lost in translation

I see this sign every Sunday and I'm sure I'm not the only one. So why is it still upside down?

We should employ this creative genius

Guaranteed to put a smile on your face. A more personal crossing symbol. Thanks to some drunken vandal.

Focus Your Mind

Something I've not been able to accomplish today. Although, on the plus side, I now officially understand writers block.

Sexy SLS in Hong Kong

Every day something on the Peak amazes me. This guy not only had the new MB SLS, he also had AMG as his license plate. And best of all, he had an entourage of three other cars follow him wherever he drove. They parked around him to stop anyone else from scratching the car, lol.

Don't get drunk around Kelly Pescod

This is what happens after several beers, shots, jeagerbombs and a large pizza! Still you have to admire the creativity.

There are two sides to every coin

Just to prove Hong Kong is amazingly diverse and because I'm a writer, check out these two pens. Above you'll see a masterpiece in penmanship with an S T Dupont 007 fountain pen. And below you'll see a slightly more ballsy ball point. Got to love sexual innuendo advertising. Although I doubt there's any led in that pen.

It's what's on the inside that counts

In my case, it's two painfully placed bladder/kidney stones! Apparently more painful than childbirth. Women don't understand the meaning of pain!

I've officially launched in Hong Kong

Pretty obvious picture of the day, one of my first campaigns for Ogilvy. Be sure to shop in Pacific Place with American Express for a chance to win 360,000 Asia Miles

Durham Pride

Brand new University Ring finally arrived. It's perfect and all thanks to Dunahm Rings. Yes thats an "n".

My birthstone happens to be the same colour as my University colours.

Pigs can fly in Hong Kong

A giant pig's ass, stuck to the wall of where I used to work. I'm glad I'm partly responsible for this.

The Mole Men Cometh

Foam is exploding from beneath the ground! Does this mark the first attack of the mole men?

Quick fingers at work during a thunderstorm

Amazing thunderstorm in Hong Kong. This photo was taken from a film, because it's impossible to snap a photo of a lightning strike. Trust me. Thanks go to Owen for the filmography

You can't be sad at Happy Valley

In and Out of Immigration within 2 hours. Record perhaps?

Trip to Immigration HK for my ID Card. It was a lot less painful this time round! England can really learn a few thousand things from Hong Kong's bureaucracy and efficiency. Even the escalators are situated perfectly.

What a silly place to sit down!

There's nothing quite as cute and repulsive, in smell that is, as a wet dog. Archie here loved the bath, he sat down in it immediately and quenched his thirst in his own dirty water.

The crazy people only come out at night!

Very odd place for a photo shoot. What looks like a school girl photo shoot, outside the back of a shopping center, in the dead of night? hmmm

You wait for 1 fire engine and 4 show up at once

First night, or should I say morning, leaving the office at 3am. Turns out the local Chinese is a favorite amongst local firefighters. Either that or there's one giant cat stuck somewhere in that building.

Are you local?

A local Chinese restaurant with no windows and tiles covering every surface. Kind of like the original Saw movie. However, when in Rome...

A touch of secret Feng Shui

Photo 2 - Found these under my desk today, apparently it's good Feng Sui. Bring on the promotion!

Is everyone watching, then I shall begin

Photo 1 - Shoot for Ogilvy August Newsletter. I couldn't help getting words in the picture, after all it's how I make a living.

Every picture tells a story, so after a year i'll have 365

The idea behind this simple little blog is to expand my own creativity. Instead of writing a diary entry a day I have decided to upload a photo that symbolizes something unique about each day. Seeing as a picture tells a thousand words, it will save me a lot of typing. And considering I type for a living I'm looking forward to the change. This will be in addition to my monthly blog update for "Life begins at 23". http://lba23.blogspot.com/

After 365 days (unless of course it's a leap year) I'll have a collection of entries that will act as a perfect reminder of my past year. And they will tell more stories then any daily diary entry could. Interpret as you will.

This is me making my unique mark!
